Gigi is an Australian actress who stole the hearts of sci-fi enthusiasts with her role as Chiana on Farscape, a cult science fiction TV show by The Jim Henson Company. Gigi has just finished starring on the Australian series Tricky Business. Previously she was filming Rescue Special Ops as leading lady Lara Knight.

Gigi was born on November the 16th, in Perth, Australia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Queensland University of Technology after entering in the auditions along side hundreds of other candidates.

Gigi’s work has taken her all around the world. While living in Los Angeles she filmed the features Showdown and Area 51 and Quantuam Apocalypse. Throughout her time in the states she also returned to Australia to film, The Starter Wife, the feature Newcastle and the documentary Creature Keepers.

Gigi was additionally nominated for the Film’s Critic’s Circle awards for best lead actress in a feature called Last Train To Freo, the SyFy Genre Award for Best Supporting actress, Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress in a television series and 2001 Maxim Award for sexiest Space Babe.

Gigi also starred for six months on one of Australia’s most popular and respected television series The Secret Life Of Us. She has worked in lead roles on countless other films, series, mini series and theatre. These include Systolic, Twisted Sister, Black Jack, Monkey’s Mask, Him and Her, Peacekeeper Wars, Stingers, Beastmaster, Lost World, Water Rats, Day of The Roses, Kill Everything You Love, 4.48 Psychosis, Kakos, The Rover, Boy’s Life, Real Girls, Romeo and Juliet, The Caged Birds, Blue People, Princess And The Pea, Road, Picnic At Hanging Rock and Les Miserables.

She starred on the Jim Henson Company”s series Farscape for four and a half years. It has an astronomically large fan following. The merchandise includes action figures, video games, trading cards…the list goes on.

Her huge Internet presence and large following of fans can be attributed to her role as Chiana on Farscape. Starting as a guest star for one episode, Gigi quickly captured the attention of the Farscape writers, producers and the fans alike. The mischievous character of Chiana became one of the most popular, and at times controversial characters in the series.

Gigi has recently begun a new endeavor. She has recorded two EPs to promote the release of her comic books. She had a successful launch in front of an audience of thousands and toured to New York next to continue her promotion. She directed and produced a film in Los Angeles called Nobody Knows. It is inspired by one of her comic books.
