Van Allen Plexico

PulpArk Award-winning and Amazon Best-selling author Van Allen Plexico is best known for his Sentinels series of novels, pushing New Pulp into the superhero and space opera genres, and for the Assembled! books, exploring the history of Marvel Comics' Avengers. His other novels include Hawk: Hand of the Machine, Lucian: Dark God's Homecoming, and his new Military SF series, The Shattering. He created the award-winning post-apocalyptic adventure series Blackthorn and co-created or contributed to Gideon Cain-Demon Hunter (with Kurt Busiek), Man vs. Robot, Mars McCoy, Danger People, Monster Aces, Lance Star, and Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1. He writes and edits science fiction, fantasy, New Pulp, and nonfiction for a variety of publishers including Pro Se Press, Airship 27, New Babel Books, White Rocket Books, Maple Street Press, Swarm/Permuted Press, Adamant Entertainment, the Rittenhouse Archives, and others. A columnist for RevolutionSF.com and the War Eagle Reader, he is a regular contributor to the Earth Station One Podcast and the Parsec Award-nominated RevolutionSF RevCast. He serves as an Associate Professor at Southwestern Illinois College.
