A longtime fan of Marvel Comics, Jacob Rougemont began his writing/research by starting up the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Fan Page website in 2000. Shortly after, he began his comic book writing career with the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Avengers 2004. After some proofreading gigs and writing stints on Marvel Legacy: The 1990s Handbook and an issue of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z in 2006, he officially became part of Marvel's research team, contributing to the 2008-2010 Official Handbook hardcover series and helping relaunch the Official Index to the Marvel Universe series. In between his Handbook and Index, Jacob began researching and helping to layout various trade paperback & hardcovers, including Avengers: Nights of Wundagore TPB, and Avengers: Vision & the Scarlet Witch-A Day in the Life TPB. He currently continues to research for various projects, helping layout books such as Solo Avengers Classic Vol. 1 TPB, Spider-Man Fights Substance Abuse TPB, and West Coast Avengers: Lost in Space-Time HC. He has also provided minor research help on books such as the X-Force Omnibus Vol. 1 HC and Iron Man: Revenge of the Mandarin HC.
