Clint Black

Clint Black began his career with Pinnacle Entertainment Group as a freelance writer. He originally started with Savage Worlds as a playtester and is now the Brand Manager overseeing the Core Rule system. In this role, Clint works in the development of projects directly related to the core rules in addition to assisting with other books so they interface with the core rules as seamlessly as possible. Clint has been involved in the development of the core rules for Pinnacle, from the first printing which won the Fan’s Choice Origins Award for best RPG in 2003, to the latest version, Savage Worlds Deluxe, which won the Ennie Award for Best RPG in 2012. Clint has worked on numerous other products for the system from the Companion series (Fantasy, Superpowers, Horror, and the upcoming Sci-Fi Companion) to multiple setting books including such popular ones as Deadlands, Weird War II, Hell On Earth, Space 1889, Deadlands Noir, and his own setting, Necessary Evil, where supervillains fight alien invaders. Clint also serves as the "Rules Guru" on the Pinnacle forums, where he gets to do one of his favorite things, hang out and chat with other gamers about gaming.
