Jef Murray (www.JefMurray.com) is an internationally known artist, author, and illustrator. His paintings, sketches, and writings sprout sporadically from the leaves of fantasy publications and calendars (MyMiddleEarth.com, Amon Hen, Mallorn, Beyond Bree, Silver Leaves, Mythprints) and cultural journals (The St. Austin Review, Gilbert Magazine) worldwide. His artwork has been featured in video courses and television specials on J.R.R. Tolkien (St. Benedict Press, EWTN), has been exhibited in the US, Canada, the Netherlands, and the UK, and he has appeared as an artist guest of honour at many Tolkien-themed gatherings (Gathering of the Fellowship, ALEP, ALEP2).

Jef’s tales and illustrations can be found in his book, Seer: A Wizard’s Journal (Oloris Publishing, 2012). They also appear in The Magic Ring: Deluxe Illustrated Edition by Friedrich de la Motte Fouque, Black & White Ogre Country: The Lost Tales of Hilary Tolkien by Hilary A. R. Tolkien, and Divining Divinity by Joseph Pearce.

Jef resides in Decatur, Georgia, USA, with his wife, author and columnist Lorraine V. Murray (www.LorraineVMurray.com), Hamster-in-Residence Ignatius, and about 60,000 honeybees.
