Mary Abreu left an award-winning print journalism career to pursue her passion for sewing. Her career change led to continuing adventures in costume and apparel design, a successful sewing book (Little Girls, Big Style, Stash Books, 2010) , as well as sewing for film with Whitestone Motion Pictures.
