Young Adult Literature

Director: Bev Kodak

2012 has come and gone, and as always, our programming focuses on the worlds of Young Adult SF & Fantasy.  In 2012, we especially enjoyed the interview with LeVar Burton about Reading Rainbow.  We had so much fun at the Yule Ball, and the Costume Contestants this year were delightfully creative. We had a great book club discussion of Rot & Ruin with the author, Jonathan Maberry.  We had an especially hilarious Zombies vs. Vampires panel, and we had fun playing the game "Are You A Deatheater?" As always, we had some great discussion panels on The Hunger Games, Harry Potter's world, and so many more. We met some debut authors for the first time, and welcomed back many returning authors.  In 2013, we plan many more fun panels, book club talks, media guests from your favorite YA-book-based movies, and more of your favorite YA authors.  If it's about YA books, we're sure to be talking about it.
