I think Dalmations are beautiful. Can you tell me more about this breed?

The Dalmation is an iconic breed. Made extremely popular by the story of a Hundred-and-One Dalmations, the spotted beauties are also known for being fire house mascots. You’ve probably seen one, perched atop a fire engine at a Fourth of July parade. The reason Dalmations are associated with firefighters is because, back in the days of horse-drawn carriages, these active dogs ran in front of the fire-carts to clear a path.

The breed’s legacy of hard work and athleticism has endured. Dalmations often do well in agility trials. A high-energy breed, Dalmations do best with an active family. They require a lot of daily exercise, so consider your schedule before committing to one of these stunning dogs.
