We’re asking you to take the lead for
victims of domestic abuse and pets.
Purina believes pets and people are better together. We’ve partnered with RedRover to create the Purple Leash Project. Together, we’re Taking the Lead to help keep domestic abuse victims and their pets together and we’re challenging you to do the same.
By Taking the Lead with us, you can help us in our mission to keep pets and people together and help us achieve our goal of increasing the number of pet-friendly domestic violence shelters across the country. Find out all the ways you can Take the Lead below.
This May, Beggin’ is going purple to raise awareness about the need for pet-friendly domestic violence shelters in the U.S. and the Purple Leash Project. Show your support—post a photo of your dog and his favorite Beggin’ treat using #PurpleLeashProject and tag @Purina. For every post, Purina will donate $5 to RedRover, up to $25,000.
Did you know only 10 percent of domestic violence shelters accept pets? The Purple Leash Project is working to change that. Here’s how you can help:
If you want to help us make a big impact, you can make a donation to the Purple Leash Project. Your donation will help us makeover domestic violence shelters into safe, pet-friendly spaces for victims with pets.
Sign up for the Purple Leash Project newsletter to receive updates and learn more ways to get involved and help the cause. You’ll get updates on our progress toward our goals, get resources to help those in need and more.
Help us raise awareness about the lack of pet-friendly domestic violence shelters across the country by doing the Take the Lead Challenge. By taking the challenge, you’ll help the Purple Leash Project raise awareness about the lack of resources for domestic violence victims with pets.
