How We Use Water
We treat and check the water used in our facilities. Not only is it an ingredient in our products, but we also use it for cooking, cleaning and other applications.
Water Efficiency & Conservation
We work hard to minimize water usage, especially in high-stress areas. We re-use water for cleaning and irrigation and are also able to reclaim some heat from the water.
Training is Key
We monitor all our systems for leaks to avoid waste, but training our operators is key to our water conservation efforts. Using the correct amount of water at the right temperature is crucial to preventing waste.
Water Initiatives & Innovations
We’re always looking for more and better ways to reduce our water consumption and to be good water stewards in the communities we serve. We’re looking at new technologies and working closely with municipalities to help improve the quality of local water.
