ANNUAL EVENTS, BIRTHDAYS & FIELD TRIPS

Each season, Purina Farms hosts special annual gatherings. From egg hunts to trick-or-treating, families can celebrate their favorite holidays at Purina Farms. All of our celebrations are family-friendly, and some are even dog-friendly. Take a field trip to Purina Farms or host a Paw-ty

Open Practice Session - June 12 - Advanced Registration Required

Open Practice Sessions inside the Purina Event Center provide dog owners with a chance to hone their skills and take their game to the next level. For just $15 per person, you and your dog(s) can practice agility**, conformation, obedience and rally. (Trainers will not be provided)

Purina Incredible Canine Kids Camp – June 15 and July 27

There is no stronger bond than the one between a child and their dog! At this dog-friendly half -day camp, kids between the ages of 12 – 17 will spend the day with their furry, best friend at Purina Farms. They'll learn about the most popular sports of canine agility, flying disc, and diving dog from the expert trainers that make up the Purina Incredible Dog Team, and then they’ll be given the opportunity to apply what they learned to training their dog on-site. Not only will they get to perform for their parents and guardians at the end, but they will also go home with a sports pack filled with t-shirt, dog treats, 4 ft leash and training pouch. A snack will be provided. Registration links coming March 19. Spots are limited. The June 15 camp is designed for kids ages 12-14. The July 27 camp is for kids ages 15-17.

Note: Registrations are dependent on passing the pre-screen questions that are below:

  • Does your dog have toy drive? Is he or she physically-active? Up-to-date on all vaccinations? Been checked by a veterinarian to participate in activities proposed in the camp? 
  • Is your dog well-mannered around people and dogs? 
  • Is your dog fine to be in a crate for a short period of time? 
  • Does your dog have any special requirements or needs?

We would love to host your child’s or pet’s birthday party here at Purina Farms.

Child Paw-ties

Child Paw-ties are animal-centric, can take place inside our 13,000 sq ft Gateway Hall at the Purina Event Center or outside in one of our tents or pavilions on the property. Pricing ranges from $100-$250 depending on the paw-ty package with several add-on entertainment options also available. Download a paw-ty package flyer for more details.

	Purina-Farms-Pooch-Pawty

Pooch Paw-ties

Pooch Paw-ties can take place on our Paw-ty Patio with an adjacent indoor space or inside our Hound Hall at the Purina Event Center.  Both the Patio and the Hall feature an off-leash area for the dogs. Pricing ranges from $100-$150 depending on the number of canine participants Download the Pooch Paw-ty Package for more details.

Thousands of St. Louis-area school children travel to Purina Farms every year on field trips. The educational emphasis of Purina Farms makes it perfect for integrating into the curriculum of preschool and elementary school students.

Purina Farms Outreach | Pets in the Community

Purina Farms is taking the Pets In The Community school outreach program virtual in 2020/2021 by collaborating with the APA of Missouri on their No More Bullying! initiative. This innovative elementary school bullying and violence prevention initiative conveys the significance of treating all beings with care and inspires students to live healthier lives as well as become valuable members of their community. The initiative is designed for students in 3rd-5th grade and features a value-centric interactive curriculum that includes lessons in responsible pet care from Purina Farms among other important life lessons.
