Centennial Celebration
This year, Purina Farms celebrates 100 years of animal encounters, incredible performances and exhilarating competitions. Since 1926, Purina Farms has been a local destination for pet-lovers of all ages to play, learn, and compete. Celebrate with us as we share our rich history! Event Center
The Purina Event Center hosts a variety of dog and cat shows where breeders compete for "Best in Show," as well as performance trials that let dogs show off their skills in agility, obedience, rally, FastCAT, dock diving, and more.
Spectators are welcome (unless otherwise noted on the Events Calendar), and most shows are free to attend. Please reach out for additional information on attending club schedules. As always, please ask the owner's permission before petting or touching any dogs or cats at a show.
Visitor Center

Due to storm damage, our Visitor Center, Pet Center, Animal Barn, and Incredible Dog Arena are currently closed. Stay connected with us as we celebrate our 100-Year Anniversary in 2026! Pups Play Yard
Burn off that puppy energy inside two fenced in pens now including light agility equipment! Online registration is required to enter Pups Play Yard, admission is FREE. Dates and times are released by week. Reserve your time slot online at the link below.
Walking Trail
Leash up and explore Purina Farms’ dog‑friendly walking trail! Open to guests Saturdays and Sundays from dawn until dusk, this scenic path is around 1-mile in length with mostly grass surface. Look for additional trail expansions coming in 2026!

Visiting Pet Guidelines
- Visiting pets should be well-socialized and free of health concerns
- Dogs outside of off-leash areas are required to be leashed at all times (no retractable leashes)
- Visiting dogs must be at least 4 months old with age-appropriate vaccinations

Purina Farms grounds are open to visiting guests from dawn to dusk.
The Purina Event Center is open year-round. Hours vary by visiting club. Please reach out for additional information on attending club schedules.

General directions from Lambert Airport to Purina Farms:
70W > 270S > I-44W > MO-100N > MO-MMW
Located just 10 minutes west of Six Flags St. Louis on Highway 44. Take the Gray Summit exit #253 and head North on Highway 100 for 1/2 miles. Take a left and head West on MM for approx. one mile until you reach the Purina Farms entrance on the left-hand side of the road.
