Where is Purina Dog Food Made?

Looking for a dog food made in the United States? Pet foods are one of the most highly regulated products in the U.S., and the quality and safety of our products are our top priority. Here’s everything you need to know about where our dog foods are manufactured:

Is Purina dog food made in the U.S.A.?

Of all Purina pet food products sold in the U.S.A., 99 percent are made in the U.S.A.. Not only are the vast majority of our dog foods made in the U.S.A., but we also source most of our ingredients in the U.S.A. too.

Does Purina own the facilities where their food is made?

Absolutely! At Purina, we own and operate all of our own U.S. factories and facilities, which is where we manufacture all of our dog foods made in the U.S.A. That way we can monitor the quality of your dog’s food and track ingredients from when they arrive to when they’re formulated into your dog’s bag of food. Plus, all of our U.S. facilities have on-site quality assurance laboratories and staff to help us monitor the safety and nutrition value of your dog’s food.
