Dr. Martha’s Role at Purina
As a board-certified veterinary nutritionist and senior manager of veterinary technical communications, Dr. Martha is an integral part of helping Purina advance pet health through evidence‑based nutrition, education and collaboration. She helps translate complex science into practical guidance for veterinary professionals and pet owners alike, developing technical marketing assets and programs and leading clinical study initiatives for Purina.

Notable Achievements
- Served as president of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition
- Served as Chair of the AAHA TaskForce for the Nutrition and Weight Management Guidelines
- Authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including the textbook “Obesity in the Dog and Cat”
- Lectured at many regional, national and international veterinary conferences
