The 27th Annual Purina Pet Parade is St. Louis’s largest annual pet event. The parade travels through historic Soulard, featuring pets dressed in their best Mardi Gras attire.

Register to Walk with Your Pets in the Purina Pet Parade

Anyone with a pet is welcome to walk in the Purina Pet Parade! The cost is $10 per pet, which directly benefits Open Door Animal Sanctuary.

Print your registration confirmation (proof you paid the fee)—or save it on your phone—to present the day of the parade.

PLEASE NOTE

Online registration closes Friday, February 14, 2020 at 5:00 pm. You’ll still have the option to register at the parade on Sunday, February 16, beginning at 10:00 am. Visit the Registration booth at the intersection of 12th & Allen in Soulard to sign up.

Don’t forget to dress your pets in festive Mardi Gras costumes!

COSTUME CONTEST


The Purina Pet Parade costume contest is now held online through our friends at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This gives everyone more time to enjoy the parade and the day’s activities.

Visit the Pre-Judging booth by Registration (12th & Allen) to participate in the contest. May the best dressed, most festive pups win! To ensure your pets are safe and comfortable, learn more about costumes for pets here.
