True to it's name it really does help with sensitive stomach. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
Sensitive skin & stomach can be a problem for pets. This is a great idea! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
I love this product great for oes who have sensitive stomachs have tried other foods, but they do not compare to this one. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
On the recommendation of our vet, we searched for a product that had salmon as the main protein. Our dog, Sasha, had just turned 13 and was exhibiting symptoms of Dementia and Alzheimer's. She was already on Pro Plan dry, but with very few teeth, there were days she had difficulty eating dry nuggets. She absolutely loves, Loves, LOVES this wet food! After just a few days of eating this wet formula (and we switched her from the small breed formula to Bright Mind Senior when it came out last year) she is more mentally acute, as well as her skin is beautiful! Her fur *during the winter when she very much looks like a poodle) is soft, and during the summer, it's shiny and her skin is very healthy! Thank you for making such a great food that my little (old) girl loves! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
We love these for our Daisy. She is a recent rescue who was a stray. She was having diarrea often until we switched to Purina Pro sensitive food. She is a very nervous dog, but mixing 1/4 cup of the wet salmon food in with the kibble version made her so much more interested in her food. We really like the chunks of rice and carrot that are visible in this and that it hasn't eliminated all grains. She is perfect with rice and things like that so it is good for dogs that aren't necessarily allergic to things as much as sensitive. She has had no digestive issues since and her fur has gotten so silky smooth. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
My mini schnauzer has a sensitive stomach and medical issues. After two years of trial & error on her diet the Purina ProPlan canned food "Sensitive Skin & Stomach" was the product that worked. She has not had any intestinal issues since starting this food eight months ago. She eats 2/3 can per day and maintains a sporty 17lbs...yes she is a maxi-mini, taller than most. As stated in another review the consistency of the food varies, sometimes it's a bit soupy instead of firm but nothing to lose sleep over.
I stock up on this canned food because I foster labradors and they all love it on top of their Pro Plan dry food. It makes their coats shiny and best of all they love it.
Anytime I get a dog into rescue they go onto the sensitive foods so their tummies have time to balance out, and this product works great, they love it and their bodies start showing positive results within about 2 weeks.
We normally don't feed canned food, but we took in a very old senior stay dog with rotting teeth. He could not eat dry food after he was recovering from his dental and extractions, and this did the trick, with very little tummy upsets.
This is just as loved as the dried version used it for my own when she not feeling well.
