Help Keep Abuse Survivors & Their Pets Together
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, but we’ve been working all year long to help keep abuse survivors and their pets together. For every donation made to RedRover in support of the Purple Leash Project from now until 12/31/2025, Purina will match 100% of the donations, up to $500,000.
Purina Employees Helping to Break Down Barriers for Abuse Survivors & Pets
Currently, less than 20 percent of domestic violence shelters accept pets. Through the Purple Leash Project, we’re helping to create more pet-friendly shelters. We’re committing not just funds, but also our hearts and hands, working on-site to renovate shelters so they can welcome pets. Purina team members are committing their time and energy to help break down the barriers, transforming shelters so survivors and pets can escape, and stay, together.

Donate to the Purple Leash Project
Your donation to RedRover will help the Purple Leash Project assist domestic violence shelters on their journey to welcome family pets by funding pet-friendly renovations. When you commit to a monthly donation of $5 or more, or a one-time donation of $60 or more, RedRover will send you a special-edition purple leash or cat collar, as a thanks for your support.
