  1. Judging Criteria & Popular Voting:
    1. How Finalists are Determined:  During the Finalist Judging Period, all eligible Submissions received during the Contest Entry Period will be judged by an independent judging panel (“Judges”) using the following judging criteria and percentages (collectively the “Judging Criteria”):
      • Emotional Impact & Storytelling (40%): how moving, heartwarming or inspiring is the Submission? Does the Submission capture the bond between the dog and the entrant?
      • Relevance to the Contest Theme (40%): how well does the Submission reflect the dog “giving 100%”?
      • Cuteness & Presentation (20%): how adorable is the dog featured in the Submission and how well is the Submission in its totality presented, overall?
    • The judges will use the Judging Criteria with the following five (5) categories or “themes” in mind during the judging process to determine the finalists: (1) Most Athletic; (2) Most Entertaining; (3) Most Unexpected; (4) Most Heartwarming; and (5) Most Life-changing (each, a “Category” or collectively, the “Categories”). The Submission with the highest score in each Category using the Judging Criteria will be deemed a Finalist, for a total of five (5) Finalists in this Contest. In the event of a tie, the Submission with the highest score in the Relevance to the Contest Theme criteria in the applicable Category will be deemed the winning Submission from among any tying Submissions. Each Finalist will be notified by Sponsor or Administrator via email or telephone on or about July 24, 2026, to confirm eligibility. In the event Sponsor or Administrator are unable to reach the potential Finalist after two (2) attempts and/or after 48 hours from the first notification, that potential Finalist will forfeit their right to be a Finalist at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and the next highest scoring Submission in that Category will be deemed the alternate Finalist. This process will continue until all five (5) Finalists are verified. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than five (5) Finalists in the event not enough sufficient Submissions are received during the Contest Entry Period.

b. How the Grand Prize Winner is Determined: The five (5) confirmed Finalists, one (1) from each Category, will each be posted on the MyPurina mobile app (the “App”)  during the Popular Voting Period where members of the general public, who are registered app users, vote for their favorite Submission using the voting mechanism on the App (the “Popular Vote”). In order to cast a Popular Vote, each voter must be a registered user on the App. All Popular Votes must be cast by 11:59:59 PM ET on August 21, 2026, to be counted as a valid Popular Vote. Please note that an email mechanism will be used and required as part of the 2-factor authentication process to verify each Popular Vote is valid and no fraud is taking place. The email verification will be sent to the email address associated with the entrant’s App account. Limit one (1) vote per person per Session. A Session is defined as 30 minutes of activity on the App. Then, during the Grand Prize Verification Period, the Judges will take each Finalists’ final score during the Finalist Voting Period and add that score to the number of Popular Votes each Finalist received during the Popular Voting Period, and the Finalist with the highest overall score will be deemed the Grand Prize winner and the remaining four finalists will be First Prize winners. In the event of a tie, the Finalist who had a higher score during the Finalist Voting Period will be deemed the winner from among any tying Finalists.

Votes generated by script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified.  No one may offer to sell votes (or offer to be paid, whether in currency, in kind or other form of compensation, for votes). The use of automated or third-party software or Website to participate in the Popular Vote process is prohibited.  Sponsor or Administrator in their sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify any Popular Vote cast or entries associated with such Popular Votes in violation of these restrictions.

  1. Winner Notifications: The potential Grand Prize winner and four (4) First Prize winners will be notified by Sponsor or Administrator on or about September 4, 2026, via email (each, a “Prize Notification”), and each potential winner must reply to the Prize Notification message in order to verify their eligibility and confirm their contact information within 48 hours from the time the Prize Notification is sent. Neither Sponsor nor Administrator are responsible for any Prize Notification that goes unanswered or unopened for any reason, including but not limited to technical glitches, misdirection, is found to be undeliverable, or not is otherwise not received by any potential winner for any reason. In the event the Winner Notification goes unanswered within 48 hours of the initial Prize Notification being sent, that potential winner will forfeit their right to the Prize, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and the Finalist that received the next highest overall score during the Finalist Voting Period will be deemed the alternate winner of the applicable Prize. In the event Sponsor or Administrator are unable to reach the alternate winner using the same Prize Notification process set forth above, that potential alternate winner will forfeit their right to the Prize, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. This process will continue until Sponsor/Administrator have exhausted three (3) rounds of alternates for any specific Prize, and then in such an event, that Prize will not be awarded.
