Purina Helping Pets & People in Path of California Wildfires
Our hearts go out to the families and pets affected by the devastating wildfires currently ravaging California. When disaster strikes, Purina partners with GreaterGood.org to support people and pets displaced or otherwise made vulnerable by these catastrophes.
To aid in California wildfire relief efforts, we have donated $25,000 to:
- Support immediate rescue efforts
- Purchase much-needed supplies
- Fund rebuilding initiatives for impacted individuals and communities
In times of disaster and hardship, Purina aims to provide timely support to people and pets in need. We will continue to assess the situation in California and are prepared to send pet food, cat litter and other supplies as needed.
Purina’s Dedication to Supporting Communities in Need
In 2017, Purina donated nearly $60,000 and more than 350,000 pounds of pet food and litter to support victims of natural disasters across the nation, including those devastated by hurricanes Maria, Harvey and Irma.
If you’d like to aid in the California wildfire relief effort, please consider making a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Petfinder Foundation, an organization rushing to aid animal shelters taking in pets displaced by these wildfires.
